Sunday Sun-Beams - Motivation

Hi, Brainiacs. Welcome back to the Sun-Beams. Due to a very rough week, we wanted to bring some motivation for the upcoming week. We hope that this scripture will provide some spiritual peace for the week ahead.

Topic: Motivation

 Scripture: Isaiah 40: 29-31

29

He gives strength to the weary

    and increases the power of the weak.

30

Even youths grow tired and weary,

    and young men stumble and fall;

31

but those who hope in the Lord

    will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

    they will run and not grow weary,

    they will walk and not be faint.

What to Take Away:

It is important to remember that your own strength may fail you but the Lord’s never will. If we rely on him and not just our own strength, we find the power and will to keep going. We receive strength to move forward and to continue progress. God gives strength to those who are weak and feeble, not to those who are confident and sure. One must know they are weak and acknowledge those weaknesses to find strength in God.

Prayer:

God please grant me the strength to push past my weaknesses. Allow me the compassion to excuse the weaknesses of others and to help strengthen them.
